Goldbelly Foods and Beverages alongsides Blessed Crown Interior Ltd have been named as Sponsors of the Skymat U-20 Summer Scouting Tournament billed to kick off from 27th-30th July 2023 at Asaba and Ughelli, Delta State.
Founder and Chairman of Skymat Football Agency, Coach Frank Tigana Samuel made this known why releasing the fixtures of the tournament on Monday.
According to Coach Frank, despite the tournament being a scouting tournament, the sponsors have pledged to provide the two finalist in both centers with Cash awards and branded Jerseys.
“Its a scouting tournament, the goal is to discover talents but thanks to the Two sponsors, Goldbelly Food and Beverage and Blessed Interior for their sponsorship which will enable us to reward the finalists in the end” he said.
Tigana also noted that the main purpose of the scouting tournament is to discover players who will sign direct contracts with Club Agents from Poland and Spain as well as Nigeria National League ( NNL) and Nigeria Premier Football League ( NPFL) clubs who are in pre season now and their scouts will be on ground.
The main purpose of the scouting is player placement, the scouts will select players for signing with clubs in Poland and Spain where the clubs of the selected players will still benefit from the player entitlements and most clubs in Nigerian league have resume their pre season so they are coming to scout fit players for possible include into their teams” he stated.
Eight teams will take part in the Ughelli center which will hold at Ogor Technical School while 11 teams are billed to take part in the Asaba Center at the Squash Club.
