Skymat football Agency has announced its next U-20 scouting event to take place in Delta State. Two Centers, Ughelli and Asaba has been designated to host the event from 27th – 30th July 2023.
According to the fixtures released by the Organizing committee, Eight Teams will slug it out at the Ughelli Center while 11 Teams will play at the Asaba Center.
Teams to contest at the Ughelli Center includes, Excellent FC Ughelli, Igho FC Sapele, Top Warriors Abraka, Heroes Stars Ughelli, De Sapele Lions, and Rockers FC Benin. Others includes, Ogor United and Mighty Wonderers Abraka.
Meanwhile in Asaba Center, the following teams will trade tackles, KG Sports Academy Agbor, Oko FC Oko, Anayoun FA Asaba, Texas FC Asaba, Young Shall Grow Ibusa, Soccer Flight Ibusa, Sowers FA Asaba, Delta Marine and Visionaries FC Ogwashi Uku. Others includes New Life FA Edemu and Ejele FA Sapele.
According to a member of the organizing committee Coach Frank Tigana, Apart from the main scouts coming from italy and Spain, National team and club handlers will also be on ground to scout for players for the NNL and NPFL teams.
“Skymat Football Agency is focussed on discovering and developing young talents and so this scouting tournament is an opportunity for the best legs in the state to be scouted. The scouts will be coming from Spain and Italy while others from the national team and Clubs in Nigeria will also be around to look for potential players” he said through a whatsapp group chat.
