The venue of Eko Boys High School, Mushin, Lagos would come alive on Thursday,(Tomorrow) as the maiden edition of Owo Unity Cup Kicks off with six teams.
The competition is organised by football enthusiast, Musbau Oseni to keep the teams within the Mushin and its environs busy as many participating players are looking forward to the tourney.
The maiden edition is being sponsored by former MS Success, Owolabi Badara who promised to witness the grandfinale.
In a fixtures made recently, MS Success tackle Ciroma FC in the opening match on Thursday evening.Action continues on Saturday as Eko Boys All Stars battle Saturday All Stars.
The match between Original FC and Lyon Blessed FC would come up next Tuesday.
Oseni said arrangements have been concluded to kick start the much anticipated football tourrney and urged the players and coaches to be a good ambassadors of their clubs.
“We are organising it for one of our former players, Owolabi Badara who is passionate about youths and sports development in Mushin.It is not a do or die affairs competition but we want the teams training in Idi-Araba of Mushin play together and let their fans see them in action again.I wish all the teams good luck in their outings,”he said.
