Striker Simy Nwankwo has backed the Super Eagles to beat South Africa in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the FNB Stadium.
Despite his good form for Serie B club Crotone, the former Gil Vicente and Portimonense forward was dropped for the crucial tie by coach Gernot Rohr.
The lanky lad has sent a goodwill message to his team-mates to ditch the South Africans in front of a partisan Soweto crowd.
“Good luck Super Eagles. Let’s get the 3 points,” Simy Nwankwo told Sports247.ng
Simy will be available for selection in the final group game against Seychelles.
