Levante of Spain striker, Moses Simon is looking up to this weekend for a massive breakthrough in La Liga, as he hopes to sparkle against Villarreal.
After shaking off an injury that hit him at the start of his career in Spain, sports247.ng reports that the former SK Trencin of Slovakia and KAA Gent of Belgium winger is now beaming with confidence.
Simon has a recent recall to the Super Eagles to flaunt and boost his confidence, hence his optimism that he would be able to make a world of difference for Levante against The Yellow Submarine.
The crafty-winger will have to overcome Eagles’ new invitee, Samuel Chukwueze in the squad that once had Ikechukwu Uche among their heroes, as he seeks to finally come of age in Spain.
Since his arrival in the summer, Simon has played 49 minutes with the Sevilla outfit and has a goal, but he is yet to start any game.
On Tuesday, Simon was in Copa Del Rey action, but could not make his mark, as Levante battled to a 1-1 draw with Lugo.
Simon says he has put that match behind him, as he looks up to the battle with Villarreal, and hopes to getting into Paco López’s starting line-up when they face Chukwueze’s team.
Simon stated: “It’s very good for me and I’m very happy that I’m there. So, everything is fantastic.
“The African players encourage me. They told me the steps I will take and it profits me. So, it’s good for me.
“It has been fantastic. La Liga is a great league for every player. I believe every player wants to play in La Liga.”
