A leading player in the squad of LA Knights FFC, Cynthia Uzoma has expressed a strong ray of hope that flag football will soon go viral all across Nigeria in the coming days.
Speaking ahead of week three action in the 2025 Showtime Summer Series sanctioned by Nigerian Flag Football Federation (NFFF), Uzoma told Sports247 that the sport is already growing in leaps and bounds, but she expects its followership to explode soon.

She revealed d further that Showtime Flag Football League (SFFL) has already become an integral part of her and affirmed that anyone who has not been present at their matches every Sunday in Lekki, Lagos has missed a lot.
“I don’t know what other word to use, but anyone who is not here is mission lots of action and drama. They are missing an exhilarating experience.
“Personally, I am happy to be a flag footballer. I was thinking earlier what else I would have been doing if I wasn’t playing flag football. I need to play and I want this sport to go places … to go viral much more than it is right now,” said the LA Knights’ rusher, who is fondly called ‘Cindy’ by her colleagues.
