SHOWTIME FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2025: Why Warriors Went All Out To Silence Off-Szn 51-0 In Record Setting Win – Nwadike Christopher

One of the standout stars in Warriors’ rampaging squad, Christopher Nwadike has explained why the team went all out to maul Off-Szn 51-0 in their second game of the 2025 Showtime Flag Football League (SFFL) season.

Nwadike told Sports247 that it was simply an instantaneous reaction by all the players to their shock loss on the opening day of the season and a joint decision among all of them to prove that getting to the Showtime Bowl final last season was not a fluke.

Nwadike added, “We all came in with a point to prove. We wanted the league and everyone to know that we are still number one. We had to show that we are still the top dog in this league, despite last weekend’s defeat.”

Nwadike then gave plaudits to Off-Season for putting up what he described as a spirited fight in the encounter, which was Sunday’s second game on the SFFL’s matchday two fixtures’ roll call, adding that Warriors will continue to respect any team they come up against.

He declared, “Moving forward, all respect to Off-Season. They put up a good battle, and it wasn’t easy. It was a tough fight for us, regardless of anything that happened or the final score. We still respect any other team we play against.

That being said, we at Warriors really love a good fight. Lock down, shut down; that’s what it’s all about. Lock down shut down is the approach, and we went all out for victory.”

He concluded with an insight into the type of strategy Warriors will adopt for their remaining games of the season; as he assured that they will not take any opponent for granted, while they aim to regain the form that saw them go unbeaten for the regular season of the past campaign.

“Regardless of the opponent, regardless of the outcome, we’ll stay focused and do what we have to do in order to pull through till the last whistle. That’s what Warriors is all about.

I believe in Warriors, I believe in our goal. I believe in what we say we are going to do and what we plan to achieve as a team, as a unit and as a family. That’s why I can confidently say watch out for Warriors again this season,” Nwadike stressed
