Warriors’ female quarterback, Anuoluwapo Bello has fired a warning shot at all their opponents in this year’s Showtime Flag Football League (SFFL), as she says last weekend’s loss to LA Knights made her team ‘mad’ and determined to get an instant revival in their next game.
Although Anuoluwapo admitted that her side did not get their tactics right at the beginning of their game, which was the opening match of the new season sanctioned by Nigeria American Football Association (NAFA), she pointed out that everyone knows the Warriors’ quality and assured that they will surely bounce back fast.

Anuoluwapo told Sports247: “First of all, I will say the strategy for our early defence was a little bit shaky, and we lost … but they know who we are. We are Warriors! We are going to swing back our rhythm, and we’ll come out with victory when it matters.”
The enterprising player added that she will not send any message to other opponents eyeing a place in the Showtime Bowl final on June 1st, as she believes they all know what her team can do and she boasted that their recovery is a foregone conclusion.
“I don’t need to send any message to the other teams, because they know who we are. They know how we play and they know what Warriors is all about. They should just watch out for us. This loss has made us mad, and we’re coming back hot. Expect the best from us,” Anuoluwapo stressed.
