In a thrilling encounter, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan emerged victorious with a hard-fought 1-0 win against Bayelsa United on Sunday, marking the end of their recent winless streak. The solitary goal, scored by Kareem Ademola in the 11th minute, proved to be the decisive moment for the Oluyole Warriors.
The Ibadan soccer lords faced a formidable challenge from Bayelsa United, who fought valiantly throughout the match.

The breakthrough came when a long thrust into the visitors’ area found its way to Kareem Ademola. With skilful finesse, Kareem placed the ball over the opponent’s goalkeeper, securing the crucial goal for 3SC.
Despite Bayelsa United’s relentless attempts to level the score, the solid defending by the 3SC backline, coupled with goalkeeper Anozie Chinedu’s sharp reflexes, denied the visitors any equalizer.
As the first half concluded with a 1-0 lead in favour of the Oluyole Warriors, Bayelsa United continued their pursuit of an equalizer in the second half. However, they were thwarted by the resilient defence of 3SC.
