Shooting Stars Management Clarifies Non-Affiliation With 3SCfans TV

The management of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has issued a public statement distancing the club from a group known as 3SCFans TV.

The clarification comes in response to inquiries from various sources regarding the group’s activities, with 3SC making it clear that there is no official relationship between them.

In the statement, the club emphasized that it is entirely separate from 3scFans TV, a group reportedly founded by individuals with no formal connection to the club.

“There is no affiliation between Shooting Stars Sports Club and 3scFans TV,” the statement read. “The club, owned and financed by the Oyo State Government, does not recognize or endorse this group in any capacity.”

The club further clarified that no Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), agreement—whether written or verbal—has been made with 3scFans TV, despite claims made by the group. 3SC, which operates with its own official media department, has no need for other media outlets for its public image.

The statement also warned the public not to engage with the group under the assumption that it represents the club. “Anyone dealing with 3scFans TV is doing so at their own risk,” the management stressed.

The club also urged individuals involved with the group to refrain from attending Shooting Stars matches, as the government will not tolerate the misuse of the club’s brand.

The club’s management concluded by stating that the purpose of the announcement was not to attack any individuals or group but to correct misinformation and clarify the club’s official position.
