Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan are expected to arrive in Enugu today for their NNL Match Day Two encounter against Giant Briller FC, sports247.ng learns.
Media Chief of Oluyole Warriors, Tosin Omojola who disclosed this to newsmen on Friday said the 3SC contingent left Ibadan Thursday morning but could not get to Enugu as planned
The team ran into a traffic logjam along Ijebu – Ore expressway.
The team spent four hours in the hold which saw the players and their officials trekking at a point to stretch their legs
The heavens also opened up at the time they we’re trekking leaving them wet before the bus made it through the traffic to pick them.
Few kilometres away from the hold up, precisely around Okada area, the bus unknongly ran over a nail near a check point, damaging the tire in the process.
The contingent got to Benin in the evening and had to pass the night at the Edo State capital before continuing the journey to Enugu, early this morning
