Shooting Stars midfielder and captain, Samson Malomo, has taken a significant step in his football career by signing with Albanian club KF Bylis.
The move marks Malomo’s transition from the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) to European football, following the expiration of his contract with Shooting Stars at the end of the 2023-24 season.

Shooting Stars officially announced Samson Malomo’s departure, acknowledging his vital role in the club’s successes over the years.
The attacking winger, known for his leadership and on-field prowess, was instrumental in Shooting Stars’ promotion back to the NPFL during the 2021-22 season.
Last season, Malomo’s impressive performances saw him net seven goals and provide four assists, securing him a two-year contract with KF Bylis.
“We are glad to officially announce the departure of our captain, Malomo Taofeek Ayodeji, from the Oluyole Warriors’ fold,” the club stated.
“Soft-spoken Malomo, who scored seven goals and provided four assists in the 2023/24 season, has gladly moved to Europe, where he has joined Albanian side FK Bylis on a 2-year deal.”
Malomo’s journey from Joy Cometh FC to becoming a key figure at Shooting Stars has left an indelible mark on the Ibadan-based club.
