Nigeria Shooting Sports Federation (NSSF) president, Brig. Gen. Lonsdale Adeoye (rtd) has disclosed that the country has great potentials in the game, as many key competitors are available to select from.
Adeoye revealed in a chat with sports247.ng that the federation has over 60 para-shooters that are eager and ready to make the country proud.
He, therefore, enthused that Nigeria will create a huge impression at the next Paralympic Games.
Adeoye revealed further that Nigeria stands to make an even bigger impact, following the International Para-Olympic Committee’s decision to make the country a West African center to train athletes.
Speaking to sports247.ng from Montenegro, where he is attending a Grade C coaching license course, Adeoye said: “Shooting as a sports in the country will soon be churning out medals in major competitions.”
