Bursaspor of Turkey defender, Shehu Abdulahi has revealed that he is making gradual progress in his effort to regain full fitness from an injury that has kept him out of action since August 2018.
Sports247.ng can report that Abdullahi has stepped up his rehabilitation process, as he aims to make himself available for the Super Eagles’ games in March – against Seychelles on the 23rd and versus Egypt on the 26th.
He has not played in almost five months for his club, but the former Sokoto United, Kano Pillars and Anorthorsis Famagusta of Cyprus full back says he is holding unto faith that he will be back better than ever.
The fair-skinned former defensive midfielder, who was part of Nigeria’s bronze winning squad to South Africa 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) revealed his optimism in a post on social media.
He accompanied his enthusiastic words of courage and faith with a photograph of himself in training, which showed that he has finally yanked off a knee guard that had been pasted to his right leg for a while.
Abdullahi stated in his catchy post: “Getting back gradually! When you have faith, everything is possible. We are @BursasporSk!!!”
