The Creative Championship started and ended on a splendid note weeks ago with Remo Stars U19 finishing as Champions of the league and Gbagada FC as Champions of the cup in its maiden season and the praises and plaudits have not stopped rolling in.
Speaking to Sports247, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, first vice president of the NFF praised the organizers for a job well done despite certain challenges faced early on.
“It’s been wonderful and we should do a lot more of this,” he said. “I was involved early on from the beginning when there was a little challenge and I gave them some advice and I’m happy they took it in the way they should organize it and the authorization they should get,” he added.
Speaking about improving the league, he said “they should take a deep breath, look at what they have done and review it, then they will know what they need to do to make it better.”
