First vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation and Lagos state FA chairman barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has implored referees in Lagos state and Nigeria at large to conduct themselves properly in all their dealings.
Barr. Akinwunmi made the call while speaking to Sports247.ng at the Lagos state referees elective congress at the swan secretariat on Tuesday, saying the election was free and fair and the process was not influenced in any way.
Mr Adams Salaudeen won the Lagos State Football Referee Council election unseating the incumbent chairman, Moses Adebanjo at the elective congress which took place at the Lagos SWAN Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos
The election was supervised by Nigeria Referees Association boss, Alhaji Tade Azeez. Meanwhile Seyi Akinwunmi has stated that there is a very good plan for referees in the coming year with further trainings that will make them better in their chosen craft.
