Former Governor of Plateau State and Senator, Simon Lalong, paid a visit to the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Mallam Shehu Dikko, to discuss strategies for advancing sports development in Nigeria.
During the meeting, Senator Lalong praised Dikko’s vast experience in sports administration, recalling their past collaborations during his tenure managing the Nigerian football league.
“I am not surprised that my friend, Shehu Dikko, was appointed to this position. He has the experience and expertise needed to lead the Commission effectively. I congratulate him and commend President Tinubu for making the right choice.
This appointment reflects the President’s commitment to the future of Nigerian sports,” Lalong stated.
The discussions focused on enhancing sports development in Plateau State and across the country. Senator Lalong expressed confidence that under Dikko’s leadership, the NSC would drive significant progress in the sector.
