Deputy President of the Senate, Dr. Barau I. Jibrin, has donated a brand-new 40-seater coaster bus to Barau FC to enhance team morale in the ongoing Nigerian National League.
According to a statement by the club’s media officer, Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, the donation was officially presented on Saturday by the Deputy Senate President’s Chief of Staff, Professor Muhammad Ibn Abdallah.

Professor Abdallah highlighted Senator Barau Jibrin’s dedication to supporting football development in Kano and across Nigeria.
In appreciation, the club chairman, Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, praised the senator’s generosity, emphasizing that the donation would serve as a significant motivation for the players.
The presentation ceremony was attended by Hajiya Yardada Mai Kano Bichi, Special Adviser on Women Affairs, alongside legislative aides and other dignitaries.
