In a big global night of the CAF awards with little recognizance for Nigeria, Barcelona forward, Asisat Oshoala rose to pitch her country’s tent up among winners as she is declared the CAF women player of the year equalling perpetual’s record.
Posting on her official Instagram account to celebrate the award with fingers counting, from one to four fingers up in the air styled with a denim jean jacket signifying her 4th honor levelled with Nkwocha Perpetual, the Super Falcons forward wrote” Sometimes you forget to smell the roses along the way in life. I’m always the type thinking about my next move and never really stop and celebrate the things in between”.
