Winner of the golden globe of the just concluded Seamoriow Sports U20 Super 8 Final, Emmanuel Kingsley has praised the incredible efforts and contributions of his teammates in helping him achieve such feats.
Emmanuel was rewarded with the sum of one hundred thousand naira alongside a golden boot award for emerging the best goalkeeper of the tournament amidst glamour of double celebration as his team emerged winner of the competition to coup five hundred thousand naira prize money.
Speaking after he received his award in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng, Kingsley who couldn’t hide his excitement admitted that it’s such a surreal moment for him and his teammates.
“It’s a very exciting moment not just for me but for the team. I feel so happy and my joy knows no bound so much that I can’t find the right words to describe this feeling.”
“My teammates gave their all for us to be able to achieve this and for the organizers of this tournament who gave us a platform to come and display our potentials, kudos to them, God bless everyone of them because without them, we won’t be here,” Kingsley stated.
“Now the goal is to look forward, celebrate the victory of the moment but there’s still so much to come and we will be ready when called upon,” he concluded.
