Say No To Violence, Don’t Be Misled – Buruj Sports Academy CEO Advises Nigerian Youths

Buruj Sports Academy

Talent hunter and CEO of the Buruj Sports Academy, Dr Waheed Salaudeen, has admonished youths to shun thuggery and violence while avoiding being misled into vices.

He reiterated that the nation has suffered a lot of setbacks and unrest due to incessant misconduct, lack of vision, failure to uphold the honour and glory of our nation, selfishness, ungodly behaviours, lack of stewardship, absence of patriotism amongst others in the hands of Political Leaders, some Traditional Rulers, the Force and the untoward actions of masses.

He said, “As youths, we occupy large population figures according to the National Census Board review, and this happens almost across the world. This is enough reason for us to think straight, stay positive and stand up against any act that would jeopardize the great course of our country”.

Dr Waheed Buruj opined that “As a youth, you are enjoined to engage more of your time doing what you love; if you’re a lover of sports build and generate your interest around it”.

“Good and bad act begins with determination; as youths, we need to be determined not to be instruments for injustice.”

“Thuggery is an act of violence or behaviour by ruffians often hired or instigated by politicians to intimidate their opponents or the masses. It is the intentional use of physical force threatened against another person, a group or community that either result in injury, death, psychological harm or deprivation within a political circle.”

Ask yourself, what will I benefit from this cause? Is it the stipends you receive as compensation or the fact that your actions are against the growth and development of your country due to your selfish act?”

“Take up a career path and carefully build and develop yourself in that part. Make good use of your youthful age, make a positive impact that the coming generation and the older generations will be proud of” Dr Waheed advised.
