The Super Eagles have arrived in Marrakech, Morocco ahead of their second Group A 2023 AFCON qualifiers match against São Tomé and Principe on Monday, 13th June, 2022.
The Nigeria contingents departed from Nigeria Saturday evening via the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja and arrived in Morocco this morning.
Eagles will be without the team’s Vice Captain, Willams Troost-Ekong for the game due to groin injury he sustained during Nigeria 2-1 win against Sierra Leone in their first Group A game of the qualifiers in Abuja on Saturday.
However, the team is boosted by the return of Midfielder, Bonke Innocent who shaked off the knock he sustained during Nigeria’s loss against Ecuador in an international friendly match in the United States last week.
The game between The Falcons and True Parrots of Sao Tome and Principe against The Super Eagles will be played at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, Morocco on Monday by 2pm Nigerian time.
