Unarguably, we all know that our one and only Abia, born and bred Chukwueze, who is currently playing for a big European club like Villarreal is a star to watch out for in the future.
Incase you never knew, the Villarreal team, whose was nicknamed El Submarino Amarillo (the Yellow Submarine) because of their yellow strip, by the mascot (named Groguet, “Little Yellow”) is characterised as an anthropomorphic submarine, is a top Spanish club, who were

However, on their last match on Wednesday after a sealed 3-0 victory over Girona, Chukwueze himself some praises from the popular Spanish playmaker, Santi Cazorla.
In the match, the Nigerian speedster, Chukwueze came in as a substitute in the second half, during a Cope dey Rey match against Girona, and just as you’d expect from the young Nigerian talent who is already taking the Spanish La Liga by storm, scored Villarreal’s 3rd and last goal. And the significance of that goal was that it helped in ending his goal through which lasted for some games now.
He made such an impressive performance between the little amount of time he was given, and earned some degree of praise for Santi Carzola, who believes that Chukwueze, has what it takes to be one of the best in world, if he keeps making effort to progress and to work hard relentlessly. In his statement on Thursday, the 23rd Of January, when asked what he thought about the match, he elaborated how everything went well, and also had this to say about the Nigerian lad.
“His performance made it almost impossible for Girona to mount any meaningful attack from defence as they had to keep an eye on him and it has earned him praises from me. You can see that the talent is there.
The former gunners man later added that
“He is applying it properly and also willing to learn new things. The hardwork he is putting in he has to maintain it and continue to develop here because he can be the best in the world, “ Cazorla said after the game against Girona.
For the 2019/2020 La Liga season, Chukwueze has so far scored four goals and three assists in 21 games in all competitions. Although it’s really not an impressive record, especially when being compared to his previous season’s stats, people like the Cazorla, his teammates and ultimately, Javier Calleja, their head coach all do believe in his talent, and are ready to see him leave up to his full potentials. Personally, I believe he would improve, given his Wednesday’s goal. So what do you think? Is he heading back to his goal scoring streak? Well, whatever the case is, we will find that out by the end of the La Liga season.
