Bordeaux Nigerian winger, Samuel Kalu is set to join EPL strugglers, Watford FC as Ranieri looks to bolster his squad consisting of four Nigeria stars with survival battle insight after stuttering starts to the season before the Italian tactician was appointed mid-way into the season.
The hornets parade the likes of Troost-Ekong who is currently on international duty with Nigerian at AFCON, Emmanuel Dennis, Maduka Okoye who will be joining up after the season from Sparta Rotterdam.

The England-based club are closing in on a £3.5million deal subjected to a medical on Wednesday prior to agreeing to a four and a half year contract.
Watford had initially played down links with the former Gent flyer when he missed training amid talk of a pending bid last week. However, negotiations have kicked on and a deal is close to conclusion.
The Nigeria international, Samuel Kalu who has 13 caps and two goals for his country, will be Watford’s fourth signing of the January transfer window after defenders Samir, Hassane Kamara and midfielder Edo Kayembe.
All three started in manager Claudio Ranieri’s side for their crucial clash with Newcastle United last Saturday where they escaped with a 1-1 draw.
