Some coaches, players and chairman of Samjason Football Club of Igando, Uchenna Samuel Eke have described the dead of late captain of the team, Emma Otuojah as a great loss to the club saying that the winger would be missed for the good work he had done for the club.
Chairman of the Samjason Football Club, Eke recently organised memorial football match between Emma Samjason era and new Samjason era in honour of the late Otuojah.
The match which was held at Egan Grammar School, Igando was watched by friends, coaches, families and well wishers of the deceased player.
The encounter which lived up to expectations ended in one goal apiece at the regulation time.
Speaking after the encounter, former coach of Samjason, Mathias Enebeli described Emma a committed and disciplined player at the time he was with the club before he moved to India for his professional football.
“Emma was a committed and discplined player.He played under me and what i observed in him was that he was ready to learn and always give his best in training and match proper,”he said.
Coach of Samjason, Toyin Soyemi expressed shock over his dead saying that Emma would be greatly missed for his good works and loyalty to the club.
While Coach Anthony Ahotin described late Emma a punctual player who gave his best for the club when he was alive.
Captain of the team, Bethel Okpara said Emma was a good player and always avoid trouble in the club and prayed that may his soul rest in peace.
He however said Emma would be missed because of his humility, generosity and discpline.
In his own comment, club owner, Eke said he was devastated whe he heard that Emma died saying that his dead would create vacuum for the club in months to come.
