The finance expert was formally inaugurated as the third president of the Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa on August 19, 2023, and his term is set to end this Sunday, but he has now set a record in getting a new Rotary Club chartered under his care within record time.

Incidentally, before his formal investiture, Rotarian Ayanwale stepped into office on July 1st, 2023, following which he went on to achieve great things in terms of community support, human empowerment and giving hope to people in distress, while also keeping several promises that he made on his inauguration day.

With his tenure now set to end on June 30th, 2024, Ayanwale will bow out with a relish, sequel to the arrival of a new baby, Royal Club Of Royal Metro Lagos (District 9112), which was officially instituted on Friday.

The new club’s investiture was led by RI 9110 District Governor, Rotarian Ifenyinwa Ejezie (FCS, CRM), assisted by other top echelon officials, who all heaped praises on Ayanwale for his historic record and other achievements.

While basking in the euphoria of Friday’s event, Ayanwale admitted that it was a historic occasion and noted how it was achieved within record time, but stressed that it was all for Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa, not his name.

Ayanwale submitted, “I am happy that we can achieve this as a club. Knowing fully well that I am the third president of the club, shows that we are still a young club.

“It is a great thing that we have achieved this charter club so soon. Together, I say big congratulations to us all. I also congratulate our new charter president of the Rotary Club of Royal Metro Lagos, Rotarian Olukunle Moses Awogboro.”
