In preparation for the 2021 Nationwide League One, Rolly Football Club of Benin, led by the Secretary of the Club, Kennedy Ugbodagha, Coaches, and other Club Officials, on Sunday (March 7, 2021) touch down in Calabar ahead of the playoffs slated for 8th through 27th March 2021.
The team departed Edo State, capital in the early hours of today with 25 players and 5 officials. The Captain of the team, Enofe Godwin promised the club Chairman, Mr. Roland Inonoje, and their teeming fans, the ticket that will give them the chance to play in the Nigeria National League next season.
The chairman of the club, admonished the players, telling them to go all out for maximum victories in every one of their outings.
” Guys I really want to especially thank each and every one of you, for representing this club. Football is a lucrative business and requires commitment, determination, passion, focus, dedication, discipline, and above all, your loyalty to make it to the top. Your loyalty should be to make it to a professional level, but if you are not willing to sacrifice your time, it will be difficult to get to the top of your game.”

Rolly Football Club will compete for one of the 2 tickets amongst 9 other teams they are grouped and zoned together in the south South region.

The players and traveling members of the management also underwent Covid -19 test, as part of the NLO requirement, to participate in the series.
