“Sometime in 2017, I had a serious challenge with my back waist, and the Doctors advised that I should not seat in a place for a very long time. But, I have been managing it and living on recommended drugs. As one is aging, the situation is getting severe, and I need to take time off to take good care of the ailments, and this will take over one full year. There is no way I will be in a Premiership Club, and will not travel for a distance of over five to seven hours, which will not give room for proper healing. So, I will need to take a season-long break, or worst still, move to a lower division club where the traveling distance will not be so far “.
The man popularly called” Sugar” for his brand of football remains optimistic that he will surely return to the game after his medical treatment. He however was not forthcoming on where he would be taking the medical treatment saying “If the finances are there, I will travel out of the country, but alternatively, I can also get a good hospital in the country where the ailments will be diagnosed and properly treated. I will surely be back” he concluded.
Fatai Osho was appointed as Remo Stars FC coach in 2018, he guided the team to her first NPFL season, but the team got relegated after the season, but Osho guided them back to the NPFL immediately after spending just one season.
