Rivers Angels Football Club is set to begin an exciting new chapter with the unveiling of their new head coach, Tosan Blankson, alongside the squad and jerseys for the upcoming season.
The event will take place on Sunday, January 12, at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, offering fans and media a glimpse of what’s to come before the league kicks off.
Speaking via the club’s media platform, General Manager Mrs. Matilda Otuene-Onyiloha highlighted the importance of engaging with supporters and celebrating the players who will represent Rivers State this season.
“This marks the start of a fresh era for Rivers Angels. We want our fans to meet the players who will carry the pride of Rivers State when the league begins on January 15. We truly value their support and invite them to join us in large numbers at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium on Sunday. This unveiling is for them, and we’re excited to celebrate together,” she stated.
The club will commence their season on January 15 with a home fixture against Ibom Angels at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
Supporters are urged to attend the unveiling as Rivers Angels prepare to shine in the 2025 season.
