A respected figure in Nigerian refereeing, Momoh passed away on Easter Monday at the National Hospital in Abuja after a period of illness.
Bosede Momoh, who earned her FIFA badge in the 2009 season, served with distinction at both national and international levels, including officiating at the Africa Women’s Championship.
She retired from active refereeing in 2020, after more than a decade of exemplary service.
Following her retirement, Momoh continued her involvement in the sport as a referee assessor in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) and was an active member of the FCT Referees Council.
She was also part of the National Physical Fitness Instructors group, frequently participating in pre-season fitness programs in Abuja.

She will be deeply missed by her colleagues and all those whose lives she touched.
May her soul rest in peace.
