Remo Stars Set To Write A New Chapter In Their History Books

The story of a club established twelve years ago has seen new additions to their legacy over time but the biggest chapter of that book is set to be written in a few hours as Remo Stars fly the nation’s flag for their first ever Confederation of African Football showdown Sports247 confirms.

Remo Stars SC finished third in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season and became one of two clubs to represent the country in the CAF Confederations Cup with their first opponent from Morocco.

With 20 players, 12 backroom staffs, supporters, club officials & selected journalists set to fly to Morocco on Saturday aboard a FlyValueJet chattered flight, Remo Stars face a strong preliminary round North African test in Forces Armed Royal (ASFAR) at the Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat with kickoff set at 8:00pm NGN time.

ASFAR is one of the most successful clubs in Morocco with 30 titles in total and we’re the first Moroccan side to win the CAF Champions League back in 1985.
