Remo Stars Ladies FC coach, Wemimo Mattew has emerged as Prostar NWFL Premiership coach of the month of January beating Moses Aduku of Edo Queens, Tosan Blankson and Ogbonda Whyte to the award.
This is a continuation of Remo Stars Ladies superb start to the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League Premiership as team remained unbeaten all through the month of January, scoring a total of seven points out of the possible nine, including a famous draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Matchday week 2.
The tactician won a total of 41.1% of the votes casted by the Jury and fans of the leg on social media to emerge as the winner of the award.
Wemimo defeated Tosan Blankson, Aduku Moses and Ogbonda Whyte to second, third and fourth respectively with percentage votes of 29.25%, 18.1% and 8.25% accordingly.
Coach Mattew Wemimo led Remo Stars Ladies to an unbeaten run in January, winning two matches, and pulled a draw to stay on top of the log in their group.
The former Edo Queens coach will be presented with Plaques, TrackSuit sponsored by Prostars Sports in a later date by the organiser of the award, Naija Women Football Awards, NWF Awards.
