For the second consecutive year, Remo Stars Ladies have been crowned Ogun State FA Cup champions after a commanding 4-0 win over Castmog FA at the Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, on Saturday.
The Sky Blue Stars secured their title defense with a clinical first-half display, netting four goals from different players to seal back-to-back triumphs.

Macarthy Adebisi opened the scoring for the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side in the 15th minute with a well-placed free kick. Just three minutes later, Arubo Oluwaseyi doubled the lead, converting an assist from Subomi Ogundele.
Shortly after the half-hour mark, Blessed Isigbo extended the advantage, making it 3-0 for Wemimo Matthew’s team. In the 38th minute, Kafayat Bashiru capitalized on a Macarthy Adebisi corner, heading home to complete the dominant first-half performance.
With this victory, Remo Stars Ladies remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, extending their streak to seven games, including six in the league. Both Remo Stars and Castmog FA will represent Ogun State in the women’s category of the 2025 President Federation Cup.
Last season, Remo Stars Ladies made their debut in the tournament and reached the semi-finals before falling short against Naija Ratels. This year, they aim to go a step further in their pursuit of national glory
