In a video posted by the Ikenne club on their social media platform, Ogunmodede emphasized the importance of building confidence and minimizing mistakes early in the league.
He encouraged the players by stating, “I want us to go more in the league that will have enough confidence before we start receiving the ball inside. If we make too many mistakes, in the early hours of the league, it will take away our confidence. It will look like the formation is not working.”
Acknowledging the doubts that may exist among some players, he assured them, “I know that some of you don’t have faith in it, you may be asking yourself if this thing will work, It will work because I am seeing it. You only want to enjoy yourself. I wanted the result more than you As a coach.”
