Remo Stars captain Junior Nduka reflects on his team’s performance last season. Which he described his team to be up and doing through the last NPFL season of 2022/2023.

In an exclusive interview with Sports247.NG he said “I must confess that everyone has been up and doing and on top of their game right from the beginning of the season till the end”
He claims his team have been consistent and that is why they just qualified for NPFL Super 6.
“Our consistency brought us to the Super 6 and we continued with the spirit of perseverance and the never say die spirit to not give up until it is over.”
Nduka was also asked about the Super eight which he described as great experience for the team.
“The Super 8 was a new experience for us as we used it to prepare some of the new players to see how they can fit into the style of play of the coach as some of our players left after the Super 6”
“It has really helped us to see what the coach needs to prepare for the coming season”
Nduka was also asked about the coming New season and their expectations in the CAF Champions League.
Nduka said ” we played in the confederations cup last season and we will be playing in the CAF Champions League this season which is the biggest stage of African football”
“Playing in the CAF Champions League is a pressure as we lost to Egyptian side AS FAR 2-1 aggregate after losing 1-0 at the Gateway International Stadium on home soil and it a must to do better in next season CAF Champions League cause what happened last season must not happen again this season as we want to make our club, fans proud and Nigeria as a whole”
Remo stars FC and captain Nduka Junior will be looking to be successful in the coming football season.
