Remo Stars Goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole has dedicated his clean sheets to God, his coaches, and his teammates.
He helped his side to a 2-0 victory against MFM FC in Lagos, a 3-0 victory against Heartland, and now with a goalless draw with Nasarawa United, with three clean sheets in three games in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Remo Stars was forced to a 0-0 drew by Nasarawa United at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Speaking after the game, Kayode says that though it was not the kind of result they prepared for but still have to thank God for the outcome.
“I am glad, I want to thank God Almighty and my teammates for making it possible for him to achieve the clean sheets. I can’t do it alone and that’s why it’s called teamwork.”
“Before this game, I hope we get another victory but it was not easy, not the kind of result but to God be the glory”
“As we have always said, our major target is to remain in the league, and we will accept any other addition that comes our way.”
