The Super Falcons of Nigeria continued deep preparations for the Women’s World Cup with a double friendly against the World Champions, the United States Of America Women’s team with the Nigerian side losing both games held in America.
Stand-in captain, Rasheedat Ajibade said nobody is indispensable and her secret to standing out is having knowledge of about five different positions on the pitch Sports247 reports.
“I have this mentality of nobody being indispensable. When you’re being called up by the national team, just come and give your best,” she said.
“Growing up I’ve always worked hard to give my best on the field and have a knowledge of about 5 roles on the pitch and I think that’s what makes me different,” Rasheedat added.
The Super Falcons lost 4-0 to the United States in the first game and then put up a much better performance despite losing 2-1 in the second preparatory game.
