Atletico Madrid winger Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Spanish Liga F’s Player of the Month for September, following her outstanding performances throughout the month.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international played a pivotal role in Atletico Madrid’s strong start to the season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in four league appearances.
Her remarkable form helped the club maintain its position among the top teams in the league.

Ajibade edged out tough competition for the award, beating Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor, Real Madrid’s Caroline Weir, Levante Badalona’s María Llompart, and Athletic Club Femenino’s Nerea Nevado.
A key player for both Atletico and the Nigerian national team, Ajibade’s impressive run has made her the second-highest scorer in Liga F, just behind Barcelona’s Ewa Pajor.
Ajibade, who joined Atletico Madrid from Nigeria’s FC Robo, continues to grow her reputation as one of the top talents in European women’s football.
