Rangers International of Enugu team manager, Amobi Ezeaku is praying hard that all ongoing intrigue rocking Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) will unfold into a bright season for the championship.
Making his wishes known in a chat with sports247.ng, Ezeaku said he hopes all that is happening will come out good to improve the league.
Ezeaku noted controversy over the number of clubs to be promoted from the lower division, coupled with simmering disagreements over the decision to declared Lobi Stars of Makurdi champions, but prayed that it will all transform into happy tidings in the long run.
He also expressed joy over the recent progress of Rangers in the CAF Confederation Cup but he urged League Management Company and other stakeholders to get the new season off the ground quickly.
Ezeaku said: “I pray that everything will pan out for good eventually, but we have to admit that things are not moving the way they should.
“I just hope that the various league managers to settle any differences they have, so that the new season can kick start.
“We need to get the league going smoothly, which would make Nigeria’s representatives in the continental competition stronger.”
