Rangers International of Enugu will welcome back four key players for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup tie away to Salitas FC of Burkina Faso, as Ifeanyi George, Semiu Liadi and Pape Ousmane Sane are set to play, after missing last weekend’s 2-0 loss at home with Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia.
However, while George, Liadi and Sane resumed training ahead of the Flying Antelopes’ trip to Burkina Faso, Bobby Clement is not so lucky and will not be part of Sunday’s game in Ouagadougou.
Sports247.ng learnt further that, The Coal City side will fly out of Nigeria on Friday to keep their date in the Burkinabe capital with the team they beat 2-0 during the first leg at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
Rangers will aim for an away win against Salitas in their fourth group tie of the contest, as The Flying Antelopes are desperate to pick maximum points, which would see them get back into contention.
A cross-section of the players said they want to revive their chances of qualifying for the quarter-finals, after suffering back to back losses, home and away, at the feet of Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia.
