Premiership side, Rangers International F.C continued their preseason winning streak with a 2-0 victory over NLO side, Peace F.C of Awka on Thursday afternoon inside Awka City Stadium.
Mujeeb Odufeso and Saidu Adamu scored in the 25 and 43rd minutes of the highly entertaining encounter which saw coach Abdul Maikaba resting the entire team that hammered Police Machine F.C 6-0 earlier in the day.
Ghanaian shot-stopper, Nana Bonsu was at his very best to push out Thomas Kelechi’s effort on 20 minutes while Naziru Auwalu, Reuben Bala, and Julius Ikechukwu did well in the middle of the pack to create over three opportunities just after the half-hour mark but goalkeeper of the opposing side, Chibuike Okafor did well to keep the efforts out.
The ‘Flying Antelopes’ will next play against fellow premiership side, Akwa United in continuation of their preseason activities at the Awka City Stadium on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
