One of Rangers International FC living legends, Chairman Christian Chukwu (Mfr) has been congratulated for the successful launch of a book titled, ‘The Field Marshal’ a Biography of an African Legend written by Ogechukwu Ajuzie of the former Green Eagles captain, Super Eagles manager, Harambee Stars of Kenya and Lebanon manager.
At the launch which took place at the main auditorium of Enugu Sports Club, Friday, the administrative secretary of the ‘Flying Antelopes’, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua said that it was a thing of joy to witness the groundbreaking event that brought together top government functionaries, led by the executive governor of Enugu state, H.E, Barrister (Dr.) Peter Mbah was ably represented by the Special Adviser on Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Arinze Chilo-Offia, and other football stakeholders from near and far.
Ugwuarua, while picking copies of the book at the launching promised to get other football stakeholders that did not show up for the event especially club managers to pick copies and preserve them for the young and coming footballers and managers.
“It gives me great joy to be here for this great occasion to celebrate one of our living legends in the form of the book, ‘The Field Marshal’. This is a complete chronicling of a great leader, archiver, and role model to millions of aspiring footballers and managers of the game. We, at Rangers, congratulate you for this great feat and will do well to ensure that other clubs come to identify with this project,” stated the young administrator.
In an exclusive chat after the successful book launch, Chief Christian Chukwu (MFR) said, “I must thank all that contributed to the success of this project, ‘The Field Marshal’ a Biography of an African Legend. I am honored. It is my belief and prayers that the aims of the author will be achieved.”
