Qatar 2022 Playoffs: Sunday Dare, Amaju Pinnick Warned To Reject Babayanran Stadium

Ahead of the 2022 World Cup Playoffs tie between Black Stars of Ghana and Super Eagles of Nigeria, a call has been made to the Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Mr Amaju Melvin Pinnick to disregard the plea of the High Commissioner of Ghana to Nigeria to allow Super Eagles play in Babayanran stadium.

Mr VAR as Sunday Agunbiade is fondly called, was an official guest at one of the popular Television Stations in Ghana, *Step 1 Television* this morning ( Friday morning) sports show with Ibrahim on the Super Eagles preparedness ahead of the much-anticipated encounter against their hosts

Speaking, “Let me just advise Our Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Dare, and the NFF President, Amanju Melvin Pinnick not to fall for Ghana’s antics pushing Super Eagles to their death zone called Babayanran stadium in Kumasi. They should unequivocally reject the stadium so as not to bite their fingers afterwards as the stadium is never on the list of CAF approved stadia.” Said the Ibadan based radical journalist.

“Guys, I got a lot of calls after today’s Sports interview show with one of their popular Television Stations in Ghana called Step 1 Television. My informants warned us not to fall cheap of the well-thought deceits by GFA and other accomplices by sending their High Commissioner to the Honourable Minister of Youths and Sports Development Chief Sunday Dare to direct the NFF to proceed with the match.

“The information available at my disposal from Ghana has it that the GFA deliberately allowed the Independence celebration to hold at the CAF approved stadium, Cape Coast so as to ensure that the Qatar 2022 World Cup playoffs against Nigeria hold at their slaughter ground called Babayanran stadium.

Quoting my source; “their think thank sat down and mapped out strategies against Super Eagles as they believe they cannot stand toe to toe with their West African bitter rival until they made them play in Kumasi.’

My informant who pleaded anonymity further warned that Nigeria should not step into that stadium not to even kick a single ball as the team will not understand anything again until after 90 minutes. They even gave you 2000 tickets out of 40,000 capacity stadium and you are happy”.

I sincerely did not believe this kind of fallacy or superstition but my conscience is at the extreme of worries and the records of those who went there was not good for our dream team to appear in Mundia. South Africa lost, Morocco lost heavily, Nigeria also left Kumasi empty-handed at different occasions”. submitted, Mr VAR

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has granted a one-match approval for Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the city of Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana to host the World Cup Qatar 2022 playoff match between Ghana and Nigeria coming up on Friday,25 March 2022.
