Inter Lagos player Uchenna Njoku expressed optimism following his team’s 2-1 defeat against Madiba FC.
Despite the setback, Njoku, who hails from Imo State, remains confident about their prospects.
Reflecting on the match, Njoku stated, “I feel like it’s a game. Football is a game of luck. I know that next time we are going to win this game and get more.”
Even with the loss, Njoku was awarded Man of the Match, which he appreciated immensely. “I appreciate it. I appreciate it very much. I’m so happy to have this today. I appreciate it,” he said.
Looking ahead, Njoku maintains faith in his team’s potential as they prepare for their next match against Beyond Limits.
He believes in their capacity to secure a victory that could keep their promotion hopes alive. “I believe I trust my team. They’re going to do more,” Njoku affirmed.
As Inter Lagos faces the challenge of needing a win in their final game to stay in the race for promotion to the NPFL, Njoku’s positive attitude and commitment to performing even better will be vital.
