Having consummated the merger of the two (2) players unions in Nigeria, the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) has taken off in grand style after its Board made up of Ex-internationals of reputable standards led Ex-international Tijani Babangida (MON) as the President was formally inaugurated on Saturday the 21st of November in Lagos.
In his inaugural speech, the PFAN President assured his colleagues, the media, and Nigerians that he would steer the players union to a greater height and therefore solicits his colleagues and the media.
The Expanded Board of Trustees was also inaugurated and as soon as the President and his Board settles down, an advisory Board made up of distinguished elders of the game will be constituted and inaugurated.
