The home-based Super Eagles invitee and goalkeeper of Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club of Lagos, Shaibu Sulemane has signed a five-year contract with TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo, DRC.
Sulemane, 20 years old is the latest TP Mazembe player in DR Congo.
Sulemane landed in Lubumbashi yesterday where he met the club president, Moise Katumbi, and club General manager, Frederick Kitenge to finalize contract paperwork and other documentation.
Our correspondent gathered that immediately Prince Kazeem Eletu goalkeeper was unveiled to the press and club management, he went straight to train with TP Mazembe players in Lubumbashi.
Sulemane would be registered for the CAF Champions League next season and he would become the second goalie for the Congolese club.
In a press statement issued and signed by Prince Kazeem Eletu, the chairman of the Eletu club expressed joy over Sulemane new signing. He described Sulemane as a modern goalie, explosive, and endowed with good reflexes.
He advised him to see his new club as the beginning of his professional football career and wished him the best of luck in TP Mazembe FC.
