This is not the best moment for Dannaz Football Academy as they conceded 2-10 in the hands of Prince Kazee Eletu Academy recently in a friendly match played Campos mini stadium, Lagos Island.
Raymond Oboh scored four goals, Yusuf Eletu recorded 3 goals as Ehuwa Olaoluwa, Precious Ogunleye and Obasi Jude scored each goal in the friendly match watched by few spectators.
Reacting to this victory, Prince Kazeem Eletu Academy coach, Abdulhameed Damilola said beating their opponents with a wide margin was great and he was delighted with the result and the team’s performance.
He also said he still needs to work hard to bring the best out of these players. Damilola said he is not particularly about results but the performance of his players impressed him.
“The performance of my boys was great and this is what we’ve been working on in our training sessions. Our focus is not on the scoreline but the developmental process is the most important thing.
If you observe nowadays, coaches tend to focus on results and winning at all cost and as a result of that, players are not improving in their chosen career but with this new idea of playing, it will enable the boys to understand what football really means and have the ability to play in different positions,” he said.
