Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to the President, Adeboye Adeyinka, popularly known as Zulu, has pledged his total support to the 2025 Evolution Cup,Sports247 reports.
The Evolution Cup is a Pan African Invitational Football Tournament which enters its third year with the 2025 edition which is scheduled to be staged in Abuja.
Zulu made this pledge during a courtesy visit from the project strategist, Mr. Olawale Olatoye, after he briefed Zulu on the tournament’s details.
The seasoned sports administrator, expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament, “You have my 100 percent support.” He said, He also commended Olawale Olatoye for his initiative in organizing the event.
The Evolution Cup, aim is to promote grassroots football development and provide a platform for young African talents to shine.
The tournament is schedule for February 2025 at the upgraded Bwari Township Stadium, Abuja.
SGFC Athletics won the inaugural edition and Beyond Limits won the second edition while the winner of the third edition will be determined in this year’s edition.
