Providus Banks Plc. has today signed a multimillion Naira sponsorship deal with Island Allstars Sports Club making them the official sponsors of the ongoing 2022 IASC Unity Cup Football League with President Ikenna Maduagwu euphoric over the partnership while also beckoning for more interested parties and stakeholders involvement.
During the historic signing ceremony, the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility Officer expressed their pleasure in partnering and identifying with Island Allstars’ pace setting strides in socialization and business networking through recreational sports.
Also creating wealth through keeping heathy – as the fastest growing recreational sports and social club in Africa.
“This is a major feat for us, appreciation to Providus Bank PLC. for the trust in this partnership which I have no doubt that it will blossom, we are all happy,” Maduagwu stated.
“Begining of big collaboration and partnership, we hope this will open more sponsorship and partnership deal for us going forward.”
Although the tournament has had history of corporate sponsorships in the past, notably from the NBL Plc. and Lasena Waters Ltd., the Providus Bank sponsorship cash volume is an unprecedented quantum leap and a long term partnership between both parties as captured in the tournament theme.
Maduagwu further promised a sporty, business affairs and funfair spiced with a double crack between teams when D-Sha Apartment & Homes Ltd goes up against HIQ Auto Centre Ltd and Johnmax Property & Services Ltd against First Oil Rush Ltd on Saturday.
The Official launching of the tournament and public unveiling of the Sponsors, Providus Bank Plc. will hold on Saturday 9:00am at the Lagos Business School Sports Complex Lekki which will be followed by a post match business luncheon and hosting at the Skippo Lounge.
