The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Hajji Gafar Liameed has expressed his happiness over the performances of the state’s representatives, Ikorodu City and Inter Lagos, so far in the ongoing 2024 President Federation Cup.
Ikorodu City and Inter Lagos who are set to do battle against each other in the round 16 of the championship, for a spot in the quarter-finals in the prestigious championship, have both equally, qualified for the Super 8 Playoffs for the NPFL.

Speaking with LSFA Media, Hajji Gafar Liameed, remarked that these new happenstances represent a new, positive and exciting time for football in Lagos State.
“This is certainly, the beginning of a new and positive dawn for the development of football in Lagos State.
“Once again, let me reiterate that the leadership of LSFA, is strongly and selflessly committed to the total development and growth of the game in this state.
“We’re reassuring all football stakeholders and investors that our doors remain open for support and collaboration towards a better and beneficial development of the beautiful game in Lagos State.
